Couldn’t Eat, Couldn’t Sleep. I have got that knot in my tummy that you get before you present a big project. Maybe you are asking, Why?
It is my Baby’s First Birthday. Actually, My TODDLER. Wow. (well…according to my studies, toddlerhood does not actually begin until the 13th month HOWEVER, the 1 year mark is the socially accepted date for the title of “toddler”) Sadness.
I wept last night. I was both sad and happy. I rocked my baby to sleep one last time, from now on there will be a Child in my arms, not a baby…
I love watching Evey grow, but it breaks my heart to know that it is going by so quickly.
Reminding myself daily now that each day should be filled with memories and fun times, I want to look back on these years with my sweet little girl and know that she had a beautiful childhood filled with love, laughter, and lots of silly play time!
Today will be filled with memories, pictures, and I am sure more sobbing from me…hopefully not from her!
We have so much to do today, but I have nothing planned…If that makes any sense at all…
I will get back to this later, now…I must enjoy a few more minutes of quiet before the little girl in the next room wakes up from the sound of my typing.

Oh my goodness how sweet is that! She is growing up so fast and she is so lucky to have such wonderful parents who love and adore her. So many changes to come but oh so worth it to watch her grow into a beautiful young lady like her mommy.
